Vols + Snowman = Cuteness

GBO! VFL! Those are two things I use alot of around this time of year on my Facebook and Twitter pages. What can I say, I’m a Tennessee Volunteers fan  for life (AKA VFL) and those this year shows me that we’re finally getting some forward progress. My Vols are currently ranked number 1 in the nation for the recruiting class of 2014. Coach Butch Jones is doing some wonderful things out there and I’m super excited! Go Big Orange (AKA GBO)!

While I’ve always had Vols things in my shop, I’ve been creating more this year because of my excitement. Here’s one of the things that’s found it’s way out of my mind and onto some wood in the form of a snowman!

I have this fella in my shop here.

Sure do hope whoever you follow in football is having a great year. And, if you follow no teams, you sure are missing out! There’s nothing like tailgate parties, sitting at a football game, experiencing a really great game, and of course all the back and forth with your friends who like opposing teams!! It’s just good ole fashioned fun!

Time is flying, it seems! December 1st is here and I’m feeling the magic of Christmas over here in Tennessee! I hope it’s the same for all of you. In the past, I know I’ve had some years that were very difficult for some reason or another…and that happens to all of us. But for each of you, I’m hoping this year finds you in a wonderful and happy place!

With thoughts of colder weather and the holidays, not to mention finally having the time to paint, I finished a new painting last night that I’m smitten with, to say the least! This is “In the Meadow”:

I have the original listed here on ebay auction: In the Meadow  Edited: this item has sold, I’ve unlinked it as it no longer shows up on ebay. Thank You!

And, the prints are listed here in my etsy shop: In the Meadow

This little rustic snow couple just worked their way out of my paintbrush, like magic…which is totally fitting for the magic of the holidays 🙂

New Venue + Fall Fellows

With the upcoming holidays, I reopened my ebay store to have in addition to my etsy shop. I have some things in both places and some are exclusives. This is right now on ebay only:

Click here to go to the auction and to check out my shop there. I was there for a really long time and took the summer off to build my etsy shop, remodel our kitchen, and get into some other projects. I really miss the auction format that ebay has, so I’m excited to have a few things there again.

We have worked on our Halloween yard decorations this weekend. Our yard consists of a mummy, a broom man similar to one below, two scarecrows, some mums, some hay, a Halloween sign and two wreaths. We have had so much fun building and decorating for autumn and Halloween!!

I realize I didn’t show you pictures of the fun fellas we found in Gatlinburg. How creative! Check these out:
