Things That Make Me Happy

Sabrina

On Facebook, there are lots of silly little games and quizzes you can take. Ever so often, I suppose I am needing something mindless to do, so I divulge in one. Not too long ago, I came across the celebrity look alike photo one that is called “FaceDoubles”. Mine came out to be Julia Ormond. I believe this uses eye placement and other features to make this determination. Immediately it brought to my mind the movie “Sabrina” which I had seen years ago. Having been so long ago, I decided to put it in my NetFlix queue so that I could view it again. And, I did. The movie is so special to me and of course, it involves Paris so that’s already a huge factor in my swoooning to a movie.

There’s alot in my life that I want to do and dream of doing. One of those is going to Paris. Another is living in different places, experiencing different cultures and ways of life, seeing the different scenery and taking it all in. One of the many beautiful scenes in “Sabrina” to me was one of the guest house of which Sabrina and her father lived. It was a residence of character, one that was not terribly large, but in fact, rather quaint and cozy.

I took a photo of the television when it showed the structure, though it’s difficult to get a good photo of a scene on there ESPECIALLY ON PAUSE – lol! It looks like this:

Let me apologize for the wavyness and dark lines in spots. But still, hopefully you get the jest of it. The beautiful stones and the stark white of the structure just makes me happy. I would so love to live there for a little while, as I can just imagine the coziness I’d feel every time I pulled up to go inside…
