Magazine Love

I guess you can say I am a magazine person. With all the different interests I have, I could spend a fortune in magazines with their beautiful glossy photos and interesting articles.

For the last two months, I’ve been picking up a new magazine while at Wal-Mart. I’m not really a Wal-Mart gal, but I do find myself in there about once a week, it seems. There’s a little magazine at the check-out area that costs less than $3.00 called “All You”. 

These magazines are chock FULL of coupons! I mean some really, really great coupons! In this month’s issue, you’ll find a coupon for BOGO free Sally Hansen Nail Polish Pens. These run about $6 each – what a great bargain! You’ll also find a BOGO free Rimmel Nail Polish AND $3.00 off any 2 Neutrogena products. Coupons are not just limited to health and beauty aids, either. There are coupons for ketchup, toothpaste, and snacks  – just to name a few.

This is not even mentioning the fact that this is a fun magazine with lots of interesting articles and recipes. Just make sure you read through it before you start clipping coupons…or else you might just clip part of something you want to read!!

Drama! Giveaway!

I have been really into sharing my make-up and skincare with you guys lately! There are things I take by spells…like I suppose I needed a change with my skin care and make-up regimen as it seems I have definitely been doing that lately.

This month, I discovered elf or E.L.F. AKA Eyes, Lips, Face. All kinds of goodies can be had from there and some are priced at $1 – yes $1!! You can go crazy over there like I did. I made a HUGE haul.  Check this out:

YEAH!! Don’t you just love it when the mail comes??

I had deliberated on whether or not to get the Drama Eye Shadow and evidently I accidentally decided that I would do it – twice! So I ended up with two of them.

That leads me to this post….a giveaway!! Someone will win the ELF eye shadow in #2007 Drama. It boasts that it is light reflecting, crease resistant and long wearing. Having just discovered ELF, I have no idea if it really does all it promises but this is a great product to try. After all, a sexy smoky eye is definitely gorgeous!

An Exciting Discovery

For some reason I’ve been having a sudden outbreak of pimples. Ugh! I know that’s really not a fun thing to write a blog post about (or read one about for that matter!) but it will get better I promise!

Since I thought of all the different products available for breakouts, I decided to do a little internet research and discovered Clean & Clear’s Persa Gel 10. Let me tell you, there were great reviews on this product as spot treatment. So, I decided to go and pick some up. First, I happened to think about a coupon and went to their website which is http://www.cleanandclear.com/ and registered for their site to get a $2 coupon off ANY Clean & Clear product (excluding trial size)!

Then, imagine my surprise to find there was a bonus with the product! A cute little Morning Burst facial cleanser. It looked like this:

This product was $5.58 before tax at our local Wal-Mart. And it came with the bonus cleanser. And I had a $2 coupon. But, the best part? IT WORKS!! SCORE!!
