Girl’s Guide Book Giveaway!
When we went on vacation to the Great Smoky Mountains, we visited a book warehouse and bought several books to read. We sat outside on our hotel balcony and read for hours. One of the books I read was called “The Girl’s Guide to Absolutely Everything” by Melissa Kirsch. This is where the book was read, so it’s had a happy life thus far:
This was really a great book for someone in their 20s and actually it has alot to offer women of any age, too. I made a few changes in my own life because of this book (mainly involving getting more hours of rest each night among other things!) and I hope it can be helpful to someone else now that I’ve finished it.
Rather than put it up for sale on ebay, I thought I’d give it away here on my blog. Retail value is $15.95, though I got it for a steal of a deal of $6.99 and you’ll get it for free! Paths and Changes
I took the photo below of my Jeep when we were in the mountains this past October. This was taken at the Chimneys area where we stopped and had a picnic. It seems to be a nice photo for this post and my feelings right now…
My life has changed so much over the past few months. I’m happier than I have ever been. My life is calmer and more peaceful. Today I’m reflecting over those changes, while looking at new directions and goals. I’m excited about my life and this path I am on. Though some bizarre things occurred and pushed me into this path, it was all meant to happen because this path was waiting for me.
I have no idea where it leads. I wonder what stops and things of beauty there is along it. With so much promise and so much hope, I’m walking slowly taking in every second.
I have many things to tell you about very soon…exciting and lovely things are happening!
